WWII Camp Wall Overview

LEARNING FROM THE CAMP WALL…

A well-planned trail will take inter-generational visitors through the stories of the ten War Relocation Authority (WRA) camps and the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) and Depart of Justice (DOJ) camps. The information will be well curated by the Japanese American National Museum (JANM) located in Los Angeles.

Local school children and their teachers will be able to easily take field trips to visit the monument, and experience the walls of black granite, with approximately 160,000 names. They will be seriously impacted, much like the Vietnam Memorial has an impact with its approximately 58,000 names.

We plan to allow for students who are further away to have online learning opportunities. Further information will be accessible via QR codes that will be updated regularly.

This will only be possible the generosity of your donation.
